Traditionally this basket is used by Zambian women during their agricultural harvest to remove the chaff from their grains a process known as winnowing.
The basket is made from palm leaves and twigs and originates from the southern plateau of Zambia. A complimentary neutral colour palette that would suit most interiors and make for a suitable storage basket in the living room or a dinning table.
